In the hills of Valdelsa, in Castelfiorentino, the Castello di Oliveto is a noble slice of this land’s history. One of Tuscany’s most beautiful historic castles, it was built in 1424 by the Florentine Pucci family, for the pleasure of connoisseurs of fine flavors, it creates wines from ghe grapes grown in its own vineyards on the estate’s hills and aged in the castle’s cellars.
Many eminent figures have been guests in this castle, including the Medici Pope Leone X and the Farnese Pope Paolo III, and are now portrayed on the labels of the wines from the Castello di Oliveto, wines imbued with the flavor of Tuscany and its history.
